Railway opens train ticket sales for April 30 and May 1 holidays

The railway opens ticket sales to serve people traveling and visiting relatives during the April 30 and May 1 holidays, applying many discount policies.

Vietnam Railways Corporation said it has started selling tickets for trains that run regularly during the April 30 and May 1 holidays to serve people's travel needs. Tickets will be on sale from now until May 4, 2025.

Specifically, on the Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh City railway route, tickets are on sale for trains SE1/SE2, SE3/SE4, SE5/SE6, SE7/SE8.

For the Hanoi - Da Nang route, SE19/SE20 train tickets are on sale, for the Ho Chi Minh City - Da Nang route, SE21/SE22 train tickets are on sale, for the Ho Chi Minh City - Nha Trang route, SNT1/SNT2 train tickets are on sale, and for the Ho Chi Minh City - Phan Thiet route, SPT1/SPT2 train tickets are on sale on weekends.

During this peak season, the railway still applies many discount programs for customers such as discounts for social policy beneficiaries, students, union members, the elderly, children, passengers with customer cards. When passengers buy round-trip tickets, they get a 5% discount on the return ticket price for passengers buying individual tickets and a 7% discount on the return ticket price for groups of 20 people or more.

In addition, based on passenger travel needs during the holidays, the railway will organize additional passenger trains to provinces with a large number of tourists, especially routes from Ho Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet, Nha Trang, Quy Nhon, Quang Ngai, from Hanoi to Vinh, Dong Hoi, Da Nang and vice versa.
