Becoming the oldest player to score a goal at the EURO and completing 14 passes, Luka Modrić put in a superb all-round performance and was named Vivo Player of the Match.

With a goal scored against Italy just 1 minute after his penalty was saved by Gianluigi Donnarumma, Luka Modrić became the oldest scorer in EURO history at 38 years and 289 days. Modric's record will only be broken if Cristiano Ronaldo (39 years old) or Pepe (41 years old) scores in this tournament.
