Expanding the authority of commune-level police in receiving and handling administrative procedures is one of the important highlights in the administrative reform process of the Public Security sector, especially in the context of the whole country promoting the implementation of Project 06 and implementing national digital transformation. With the spirit of "serving the people", Quyet Thang Ward Police gradually affirms its role as a force close to the people, listening and acting for the satisfaction of the people.

From July 1, 2025, commune-level police nationwide will have increased authority in receiving and handling a number of administrative procedures related to the field of security and order.

This is a concrete step in the process of implementing a model of regular commune police organization, gradually streamlining the apparatus, while creating maximum favorable conditions for the people.

Carrying out the new task, Quyet Thang Ward Police deployed it in a methodical, scientific and correct manner, contributing to improving the efficiency of serving the people.

Established on the basis of merging three administrative units of communes and wards: Thinh Dan, Quyet Thang, Phuc Ha, Quyet Thang Ward Police organized the apparatus in a streamlined direction, put into operation in a disciplined manner, serving the people promptly and effectively.

The ward currently has a large population, with 7,578 households and more than 27,000 people. In addition, there are more than 6,000 households registered for temporary residence, with over 8,000 people being students, laborers, and workers renting accommodation...

The elderly are given priority when applying for citizen identification cards.

From July 1st to now, Quyet Thang Ward Police have received and handled more than 600 citizens coming to do administrative procedures.

Thanks to proactive staff arrangement and reasonable organizational structure, the reception and processing of documents are always on schedule, without any backlog of documents.

Since the beginning of July, many people have been present at the Ward Police Headquarters since early morning to carry out administrative procedures, such as: confirming information about residence; registering for level 2 electronic identification accounts...

Here, with a dedicated and thoughtful attitude, the ward police officers are always ready to guide citizens in completing their records, declaring accurate information, ensuring that the settlement process is carried out quickly.

Ms. Ta Thi Thang, from Trung Thanh hamlet, came to the ward police station to confirm the residence information for her child to attend vocational school, said: The police officers explained clearly, guided me and completed the procedures in a short time. Handling administrative procedures at the ward police station helps us save money and travel time.

Not only local residents, but also students temporarily residing in the area highly appreciate the service efficiency of Quyet Thang Ward Police.

Nguyen Thi Minh Thuong, a student at Thai Nguyen University, temporarily residing in Son Tien hamlet, shared: When I came to do the procedures, the police officers gave me very detailed instructions. Every step was done properly, I didn't have to wait long. I am very satisfied with the service attitude of the officers here.
