Rush to complete key projects

To practically achieve achievements in celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day September 2 and the 16th Congress of Quang Ninh Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, Quang Ninh province is speeding up the implementation of key projects and works.

Before the major national event of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam on September 2 (1945-2025) and welcoming the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, Quang Ninh province has reviewed and listed about 40 projects and works within and outside the budget for research, consideration, commencement, and inauguration, including many projects of symbolic significance, marking the new development stage, such as: Key hospitals (expansion of Bai Chay Hospital; upgrading and expansion of Vietnam - Sweden Uong Bi Hospital; expansion of Maternity and Pediatrics Hospital); social housing areas for coal industry workers and workers in industrial parks; Service and tourism infrastructure (Quang Hanh golf course; Ha Long Bay Hotel and high-class service area in Ha Long ward; high-class resort and entertainment complex, golf course and Monbay Van Don residential area interacting with tourism activities...); Bai Chay High School; Tien Yen Secondary and High School; Provincial Media Center; Provincial Police Headquarters; Van Don Industrial Park...

Unlike superficial movements, the projects and works to be celebrated in Quang Ninh are carefully selected, based on their practical use value, ability to complete on schedule and substantial contribution to economic growth and high social welfare. Projects to develop healthcare, education, transportation, energy, housing... are expected to improve the quality of life, serving people, workers, students and businesses effectively.

Notably, many works and projects use non-budgetary capital, demonstrating the growing investment attraction in Quang Ninh . The drastic participation of authorities at all levels, the close coordination between departments, branches and investors have helped to quickly resolve problems in site clearance and legal procedures of projects, creating motivation for investors to commit to the province to effectively promote investment resources, project value, and maintain investment progress after implementation.

Ms. Tran Thi Kim (Nam Son 1 Quarter, Cua Ong Ward) said: I am very happy to see the works and projects selected by the province to start construction and inaugurate to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of National Day September 2 and the 16th Provincial Party Congress. These are all meaningful and practical works and projects for the people, especially school and hospital projects.

The project to renovate and upgrade the main road Minh Chau - Quan Lan is being urgently completed to welcome the 16th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.

Each project and construction selected by the province not only has political significance but also has practical contributions to the community. The Provincial People's Committee requires localities and investors to clearly define goals, progress and responsibilities, absolutely not leaving the project unfinished or formal. Currently, closely following the tasks assigned by the province, especially investors assigned to manage projects and constructions that are about to be completed, focus on organizing continuous construction plans and projects during the day, ensuring the final items are quickly completed.

The Quang Ninh Provincial Media Center Headquarters Project, after a period of active construction, with the efforts from the investor to the contractors, especially in the context of high prices of raw materials, difficult construction conditions due to unstable geology, up to now the technical infrastructure of the building block has been completed; the contractors are closely coordinating, making detailed construction plans for the interior, installing specialized equipment and machinery in the entire building.

Mr. Pham Duy Thanh, Institute of Science and Construction Technology IBST, said: The unit performs the function of supervising the construction and installation of the Provincial Media Center Headquarters. In response to the province's target on the progress of the project, the unit, together with the investor, closely follows the site, inspects and urges the joint venture contractor to arrange enough technical staff and construction workers at all stages, ensuring synchronous construction of the building's floors, avoiding conflicts that slow down the construction progress; daily review the progress, report on arising problems and obstacles to discuss and agree on appropriate construction measures, striving to complete the construction part in August 2025.

The projects and works not only welcome but also unlock potentials, create new momentum for socio-economic development, and realize the goals of the Resolution of the 14th National Party Congress and the Resolution of the 16th Quang Ninh Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
