Silver prices fell following gold's fall due to profit-taking pressure from the market after a series of strong increases recently.
In line with the decline in world silver prices, domestic businesses also adjusted silver prices down compared to the previous session.
Phu Quy silver price was listed by Phu Quy Jewelry Company at 1.795 million VND/tael for buying, 1.851 million VND/tael for selling, down 17,000 VND/tael compared to yesterday.
Silver price today falls again
Meanwhile, Sacombank -SBJ Gold and Gemstone Company sells silver produced by the company at 1.857 million VND/tael; Golden Fund sells at 1.84 million VND/tael and Ancarat brand silver is sold at 1.85 million VND/tael.
In terms of ratio, silver price today is down about 0.9% compared to yesterday.
According to analysts, silver and gold prices fell sharply in the trading session last night and early this morning on the international market due to strong profit-taking pressure after the metals reached their highest level in the past 14 years.
The recovery of the US dollar and crude oil prices also put pressure on silver and gold prices. The US dollar index (DXY) is currently trading at 97.89 points, up 0.17% compared to the previous session.
Silver prices have fluctuated continuously in recent days.
