London Robusta Coffee Price February 2, 2025

On the London floor, at 4:30 a.m. on February 2, 2025, the price of Robusta coffee remained unchanged compared to yesterday, still fluctuating between 5,523 and 5,718 USD/ton. Specifically, the delivery price for March 2025 was 5,718 USD/ton, the delivery price for May 2025 was 5,694 USD/ton, the delivery price for July 2025 was 5,618 USD/ton and September 2025 was 5,523 USD/ton.

New York Arabica coffee price on February 2, 2025

Similarly, the price of Arabica coffee on the New York floor did not increase or decrease compared to the previous day's price, updated as follows: The delivery period for March 2025 is 377.85 cents/lb, the delivery period for May 2025 is 371.35 cents/lb, the delivery period for July 2025 is 364.05 cents/lb and the delivery period for September 2025 is 354.55 cents/lb.

Brazilian Arabica coffee price on February 2, 2025

At the end of the trading session, the price of Arabica coffee from Brazil was recorded, specifically: The delivery period for March 2025 was 464.50 USD/ton, the delivery period for May 2025 was 458.80 USD/ton, the period for July 2025 was 457.10 USD/ton and the period for September 2025 was 440.00 USD/ton.

Robusta coffee traded on the ICE Futures Europe (London exchange) opens at 16:00 and closes at 00:30 (next day) Vietnam time. Arabica coffee traded on the ICE Futures US (New York exchange) opens at 16:15 and closes at 01:30 (next day) Vietnam time. For Arabica coffee traded on the B3 Brazil exchange, it will open from 19:00 - 02:35 (next day) Vietnam time.

Domestic coffee prices remain stable​​

According to information from Giacaphe.com, at 4:30 a.m. today, February 2, 2025, domestic coffee prices are stable and still at an average of 128,900 VND/kg compared to yesterday.

The highest coffee purchase price in the key regions of the Central Highlands was recorded at 129,000 VND/kg. Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 128,800 VND/kg, in Lam Dong is 127,800 VND/kg, in Gia Lai is 128,800 VND/kg, in Dak Nong today is 129,000 VND/kg and today's coffee price in Kon Tum is recorded at 128,300 VND/kg.

The domestic coffee prices that Giacaphe.com lists every day are calculated based on the prices of two world coffee exchanges combined with continuous surveys from businesses and purchasing agents in key coffee growing areas across the country.

According to experts, the current coffee market is in a rare phase in history, with this situation only occurring once every 50 years or so. The fluctuations in coffee prices in recent years have forced many businesses and farmers to change their business strategies.

Last year, coffee prices spiked due to misreading of supply. Many supply chains were disrupted when sellers failed to deliver due to fears of further price increases, leading to many businesses losing money by buying at high prices to deliver on signed orders at low prices.

However, this year, businesses have learned their lesson and adjusted their strategies. Instead of "buying far and selling far", they switched to "buying high and selling high", closing each batch of goods to ensure financial security. Roasters are also now only buying enough goods to last about a month, not storing goods for a long time like before.

Domestic coffee prices in early 2025 approached 130,000 VND/kg, creating opportunities for farmers to achieve very high profits, up to over 300%, which has brought great benefits to coffee growers.
