Pig prices today, February 18, 2025, recorded mixed fluctuations when some northern provinces and cities suddenly decreased, while the South maintained an upward trend.

Northern region

The price of live pigs today (February 18, 2025) in the Northern region witnessed a downward trend. Specifically, the two provinces of Bac Giang and Phu Tho both decreased by VND 1,000/kg, bringing the price down to VND 71,000/kg.

Thus, the price of live pigs in this area fluctuates between 70,000 - 71,000 VND/kg. Of which, Lao Cai, Nam Dinh and Ninh Binh are the two localities with the lowest price in the region, all trading at 70,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (February 18, 2025) in the Central Highlands region continues to be stable.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this region fluctuates between 69,000 - 72,000 VND/kg. Of which, Quang Tri, Quang Nam , Khanh Hoa, Binh Dinh sell the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 69,000 VND/kg. On the contrary, Binh Thuan and Lam Dong have the highest price of live pigs in the region at 72,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

In contrast to the North, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today (February 18, 2025) continued to record an increase in localities such as Binh Duong and Tay Ninh, both increasing by VND 1,000/kg, bringing the price to VND 73,000/kg.

Currently, the price of live pigs in this area is still fluctuating between 70,000 and 73,000 VND/kg. In particular, many localities such as Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Can Tho, Ca Mau, Binh Duong, Tay Ninh, Soc Trang have the highest price in the country at 73,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the prices in the provinces and cities in the region fluctuate commonly between 70,000 and 72,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs today (February 18, 2025) recorded mixed fluctuations when the Northern region reversed to decrease, while the Southern region maintained an upward trend. Currently, the price of live pigs is being traded in the range of 69,000 - 73,000 VND/kg.
