Gia Hoi: 48 meritorious people received free medical examination and medicine

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), on July 27, the Youth Union of General Hospital No. 3 organized medical examination, health consultation, free medicine distribution and gift giving in Gia Hoi commune.

Doctors and nurses examine and advise people with meritorious services in Gia Hoi commune.

At Gia Hoi Regional General Clinic, doctors and nurses provided general health check-ups, consultations, and free medicine to 48 policy beneficiaries, war invalids, sick soldiers, people infected with Agent Orange, revolutionary veterans, and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

In addition, doctors and nurses also advise on how to take care of their own health, proactively prevent some common diseases; advise on treatment, safe use of medicine, and ways to prevent epidemics; and recommend that those showing signs of illness should go to a medical facility for timely treatment.

Previously, on July 25, General Hospital No. 3 organized a rally to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, to commemorate, pay tribute, and express gratitude to those who heroically fought for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, to educate revolutionary traditions, the morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking water", "repaying gratitude"; at the same time, organized to encourage, visit, and give gifts to relatives of officers in the unit who are war invalids, sick soldiers, and martyrs.
