On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2025), many agencies and units have carried out activities of medical examination, free medicine provision and gift giving to policy beneficiaries.

At the places visited, the delegation inquired about the health and family circumstances, and expressed gratitude for the contributions and sacrifices of veterans and those who contributed to the struggle for independence, freedom, and unification of the country.

Through visiting and gift-giving activities to express gratitude and encourage members and veterans to continue promoting the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" and actively work and produce.

It is known that this is an annual activity of the association on the occasion of holidays, New Year or national anniversaries. Through this, we express gratitude for the contributions of veterans and people with meritorious services to the revolution, while creating solidarity and encouraging members and veterans to continue to promote the tradition of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", actively compete in labor, production, business, and contribute to the development of the locality.

* National parade command center - A80 gives gifts to policy families in Van Phu ward and Yen Binh commune

On July 26-27, the National Parade Command - A80 and Mobile Police Battalion No. 3 - Northwest Mobile Police Regiment (E24) - Mobile Police Command visited, gave gifts, and encouraged families of wounded soldiers and relatives of martyrs in Van Phu ward and Yen Binh commune.

The working delegation of the National Parade Command - A80 led by Lieutenant Colonel Bui Ngoc Lam, Deputy Commander of the National Parade Command A80 - Ministry of Public Security visited and presented gifts to the families of: Mr. Nguyen Quang Ganh, a war invalid in Ngoi Sen residential group, Van Phu ward; Mr. Tran Van Dau, a war invalid in Tien Phu residential group, Van Phu ward; Mr. Vuong Minh Chung, Tien Phu residential group, Van Phu ward, a war invalid.

At the families visited, representatives of the working delegation kindly inquired, encouraged, and expressed deep gratitude for the great contributions of heroic martyrs, wounded soldiers, martyrs' relatives, and people with meritorious services to the revolution in the cause of fighting to protect the Fatherland.

* 48 people with meritorious services to Gia Hoi commune were examined and given free medicine.

On July 27, the Youth Union of General Hospital No. 3 organized medical examinations, health consultations, free medicine distribution and gift giving in Gia Hoi commune.

At Gia Hoi Regional General Clinic, doctors and nurses provided general health check-ups, consultations, and free medicine to 48 policy beneficiaries, war invalids, sick soldiers, people infected with Agent Orange, revolutionary veterans, and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.

In addition, doctors and nurses also advise on how to take care of their own health, proactively prevent some common diseases; advise on treatment, safe use of medicine, and ways to prevent epidemics; and recommend that those showing signs of illness should go to a medical facility for timely treatment.

Previously, on July 25, General Hospital No. 3 organized a rally to celebrate the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, to commemorate, pay tribute, and express gratitude to those who heroically fought for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, to educate revolutionary traditions, the morality of "remembering the source of water when drinking water", "repaying gratitude"; at the same time, organized to encourage, visit, and give gifts to relatives of officers in the unit who are war invalids, sick soldiers, and martyrs.
