Gia Lai: Vocational training for officials and civil servants working in foreign information in border areas

(GLO)- On September 18, in Pleiku ward, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Gia Lai province organized a conference to train professional skills in information and propaganda work, foreign information in 2025 for cadres and civil servants of 135 communes and wards working in foreign information work in border areas.

At the conference, the trainees, who are officials and civil servants in charge of electronic information portals and civil servants in charge of broadcasting activities of communes and wards in the province, were informed by the reporters about 4 important topics related to foreign information work in border areas.

Topics include: international cooperation and integration, economic diplomacy , cultural diplomacy and Gia Lai's territorial borders; national border protection strategy, the situation related to the protection of territorial sovereignty, national border security, and the province's border security in recent times.

Along with that is the consolidation, supplementation, improvement of professional skills and implementation of foreign information work, meeting the new requirements of the country when implementing the 2-level local government model; providing professional guidance and skills in implementing foreign information work for the forces participating in this activity...

The training conference took place over two days (September 18 and 19). Through the conference, officials and civil servants in charge of external information work of communes and wards will apply the knowledge imparted to effectively carry out their tasks in the coming time.
