Rice price today January 10: Rice price reverses and decreases

Recorded in localities today, the quantity is quite good, new transactions continue to be slow. In Sa Dec ( Dong Thap ), the quantity is slow, the warehouse purchases of all kinds of rice have decreased slightly depending on the quality. In Lap Vo - Vam Cong (Dong Thap), the quantity is quite good, new transactions are slow, prices tend to decrease slightly, warehouse purchases are slow.

Sa Dec market canal (Dong Thap), in terms of quantity, prices of all types of rice are relatively stable, market rice warehouses buy little. At An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang ), quantity is low, buyers buy slowly, there is little good rice, mostly general rice, prices of some types have decreased slightly.

At retail markets, the prices of some rice products decreased compared to the beginning of the week. Currently, regular rice decreased by 1,000 VND, fluctuating at 15,000 - 16,000 VND/kg; Jasmine fragrant rice decreased by 1,000 VND, fluctuating at 17,000 - 18,000 VND/kg; Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price of 28,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice 21,500 VND/kg; long-grain fragrant rice 20,000 - 22,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice 22,000 VND/kg; common white rice 17,500 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice 21,000 VND/kg; Soc regular rice decreased by 500 VND, fluctuating at 18,000 VND/kg; Soc Thai rice 21,000 VND/kg; Japanese rice 22,500 VND/kg

In many localities today, new rice transactions are weak due to continuous fluctuations in rice prices. In Long An, there is still a small supply, prices are relatively stable compared to yesterday, new transactions are slow. In Dong Thap, farmers sell at reduced prices but few people buy.

In Soc Trang, there are not many new buyers, transactions are slow. In An Giang, farmers are offering early winter-spring rice, new transactions are slow. In Bac Lieu, the market is quiet, there are few new buyers, transactions are stagnant.

In the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices today are stronger than at the beginning of the week. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), currently 5% standard rice is at 434 USD/ton; 25% broken rice is at 409 USD/ton; 100% broken rice is at 326 USD/ton.
