Thai durian grade A is currently purchased at around 85,000 - 92,000 VND/kg, depending on the region and fruit quality. The VIP variety in Dak Lak and Binh Phuoc reaches the highest price of 110,000 VND/kg.

Of which, durian continues to be the most important item, contributing about 1.7 billion USD.

China remains the largest market, accounting for over 678 million USD, up 15% over the same period. In addition, many other markets also recorded impressive growth such as the US, South Korea, Taiwan, Japan, the Netherlands and Malaysia.

Forecast of durian price trends in the coming time

According to the Vietnam Fruit and Vegetable Association (Vinafruit), thanks to abundant output and the overcoming of technical warnings, Vietnamese durian is regaining strong growth momentum. This recovery helps the entire fruit and vegetable industry achieve high turnover targets, while reducing the pressure of dependence on a few individual markets.

Experts predict that domestic durian prices will remain stable in the coming months. Export demand, especially to China, remains high, creating incentives to keep prices attractive for farmers and businesses. However, weather factors and fruit quality still need to be controlled to ensure sustainable supply.
