SJC gold bar and gold ring prices remain at historic peaks

(NLDO) – This morning, February 21, the world gold price "turned around" and plummeted, but SJC gold bars and gold rings continued to maintain at their peak.

On the morning of February 21, the price of SJC pieces was maintained by SJC, PNJ, and DOJI companies at 90 million VND/tael for buying and 92.3 million VND/tael for selling, stable compared to the end of February 20.

Gold bar prices have maintained an upward trend over the past two weeks, and are less than 1 million VND away from the all-time peak of 93.1 million VND/tael set on February 11.

Similarly, the price of 99.99 gold rings and jewelry gold also maintained a high level when SJC Company listed the buying price at 89.9 million VND/tael and selling price at 92 million VND/tael. Some companies raised the buying price of gold rings to 90.4 million VND/tael and selling price at 92.2 million VND/tael.

The difference between buying and selling prices is maintained by businesses from 2.1 - 2.3 million VND/tael.

The "static" movement of domestic gold prices is surprising in the context of world gold prices "turning around" and plummeting sharply last night and early this morning.

At 9:00 a.m. this morning, Vietnam time, the world gold price was trading at 2,928 USD/ounce, down more than 20 USD/ounce compared to last night.

SJC gold bar and gold ring prices remain high

Gold prices fluctuated strongly in the context of the USD index on the international market going down. The USD index is currently trading at 106.4 points, the lowest in about 2 months.

According to analysts, despite the adjustment in last night's session on the international market, gold prices are still "sparkling" in the context of investors seeking precious metals as a safe haven.

World gold price converted at listed exchange rate is about 90.7 million VND/tael.
