(NLDO) - The price of gold rings this morning, March 4, increased faster than the price of SJC gold bars and some brands sold at sky-high prices.

On the morning of March 4, SJC gold bars were listed at the same price by SJC, PNJ, and DOJI companies, buying at 89.6 million VND/tael, selling at 91.6 million VND/tael - an increase of 600,000 VND compared to the end of yesterday.

This is the second day that gold bar prices have increased, adding a total of 1.1 million VND/tael.

The price of 99.99 gold rings and jewelry gold also continues to increase, but there is a significant difference between businesses.

SJC Company traded gold rings at 89.6 million VND/tael for buying and 91.5 million VND/tael for selling - an increase of 600,000 VND.

PNJ Company listed 99.99 plain gold rings at 90.9 million VND/tael for buying and 92 million VND/tael for selling.

Many other businesses also sell gold rings at a higher price than SJC gold bars, such as Bao Tin Minh Chau Company at 91.8 million VND/tael; Phu Quy Company at 92.2 million VND/tael - 600,000 VND/tael higher than SJC gold bars.

The price of gold rings listed by some brands exceeds 92 million VND/tael, higher than the price of SJC gold bars.

The price of gold rings has been quite surprising. Previously, the price of SJC gold bars was often higher than that of gold rings. In 2024, there was a time when the price of SJC gold bars was higher than that of 99.99 plain gold rings by tens of millions of VND/tael.

In the international market, the price of precious metals is being traded at 2,887 USD/ounce, about 15 USD/ounce higher than yesterday. During the session last night and early this morning, the world gold price reached 2,895 USD/ounce before falling again.

Investors in the international market continue to seek gold as a safe investment channel in the context of geopolitical tensions in Ukraine that have not yet subsided; trade tariffs between the US and its partners Mexico, Canada, and China take effect from today.

At the same time, the USD index falling around 106.5 points also supported gold prices to continue to increase.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 89.7 million VND/tael.
