Gasoline prices fall after 3 consecutive increases

Gasoline prices at today's adjustment period (September 11) were adjusted down after 3 consecutive increases. Meanwhile, diesel prices increased slightly.

The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Finance announced changes in retail prices for petroleum products this afternoon (September 11).

Based on the direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade - Ministry of Finance, petroleum businesses will simultaneously adjust retail gasoline prices from 3:00 p.m. today.

Accordingly, compared to the previous adjustment period, the price of RON 95 gasoline level 3 (the popular type on the market) today was adjusted down by 39 VND/liter, the selling price is not higher than 20,400 VND/liter.

Similarly, the price of E5 RON 92 gasoline decreased by 95 VND/liter, the selling price is not higher than 19,756 VND/liter.

Domestic gasoline prices are adjusted down.

The price of 0.05S diesel is not higher than VND 18,643/liter (an increase of VND 170/liter compared to the current base price); kerosene is not higher than VND 18,368/liter (an increase of VND 54/liter compared to the current base price); 180CST 3.5S mazut: not higher than VND 15,090/kg (a decrease of VND 286/kg compared to the current base price).

Thus, domestic gasoline prices have reversed and decreased after 3 consecutive increases.

In the most recent adjustment period (September 4), gasoline prices were adjusted up. Accordingly, gasoline prices increased by 76-80 VND/liter, diesel prices increased by 116 VND/liter.

According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the world oil market in this management period (from September 4, 2025 to September 10, 2025) is affected by main factors such as: Israel attacks Hamas leadership in Qatar; OPEC+ increases oil production in October 2025; USD depreciates; military conflict between Russia and Ukraine continues... The above factors have caused world oil prices to fluctuate up and down depending on each product in recent days.
