In 2025, the Vietnam Talent Awards in the field of Digital Technology recorded 168 entries, including 46 products from the Successful Digital Technology System and 122 products from the Promising Digital Technology System. This reflects the strong creativity of the Vietnamese technology community in the era of artificial intelligence (AI) and big data.

The preliminary jury consists of professors and leading experts in the field of information technology and communications, chaired by Mr. Nguyen Long, Vice President and General Secretary of the Vietnam Information Technology Association. After a thorough evaluation, appraisal and discussion process, the jury unanimously selected 18 outstanding representatives with creativity, practical application and high development potential for the final round.
According to Mr. Nguyen Long, this year's Award takes place in the context of the global technology wave, especially artificial intelligence (AI) and big data, which are reshaping all areas of social life. The entries not only demonstrate technological updates but also demonstrate the creative thinking and strategic vision of the authors in creating solutions to serve the national digital transformation process.
This year's products clearly demonstrate the trend of applying core technologies such as AI, Big Data, blockchain, cloud computing, IoT, quantum computing, deployed in many essential fields: Cyber security, education, healthcare, disaster warning, corporate governance, public administration, directly contributing to the construction of digital government, digital economy , digital society and ensuring national data safety and security.
The Successful Digital Technology system gathers many branded products, widely applied and bringing about clear effectiveness in practice; while the Promising Digital Technology system recognizes the outstanding participation of students, young startups and especially high school students with creative technology ideas, demonstrating the strong attraction of the Award in arousing the desire to conquer technology of the young generation of Vietnam.
In each product system, contestants will have the opportunity to receive 1 First Prize worth 200 million VND, 1 Second Prize worth 100 million VND, 1 Third Prize worth 50 million VND, and other valuable prizes from sponsors.
Immediately after the preliminary round, the Jury will conduct a field survey of the finalists' products at application points nationwide, in order to have a comprehensive view of the effectiveness, sustainability and commercialization potential of the products.
The final round of the Vietnam Talent Awards 2025 is scheduled to take place on October 25, 2025 in Hanoi . In this round, the authors will have the opportunity to present and defend their products directly before the Jury and Review Board.
The Vietnam Talent Awards 2025 will be held on the evening of October 27, 2025 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Labor Cultural Palace (Hanoi), with the participation of leaders of the Party, State, ministries, branches, businesses, scientists and press agencies. The program will be broadcast live on VTV2 channel - Vietnam Television.
Initiated by the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education in 2004, with the main organization and sponsorship of the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT), the Vietnam Talent Award has marked nearly two decades of formation and development, becoming one of the most prestigious awards in science and technology in Vietnam. In 2025, with the theme "Honoring talent, inspiring creativity", the Award includes the following fields: Digital technology, Medicine, Creative youth, Encouragement of learning - Self-study to become talented and Dedication award. In which, Digital technology is always the core field. The Award has contributed to discovering, encouraging and spreading creative values in the community, especially among intellectuals, scientists and creative workers across the country.
During its journey from 2004 to present, the Vietnam Talent Awards has attracted more than 7,500 authors and groups of authors, including more than 250 overseas Vietnamese; received more than 3,500 products and scientific works for the competition; honored more than 210 outstanding works, with over 50 products commercialized, present in the regional and international markets; contributed to supporting startups, expanding investment and development for hundreds of technology projects.
