TPO - The 10th term People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City has elected Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice, to be a member of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
On the morning of November 14, the 10th term of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City held its 19th session (special session). At the session, Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City Phan Van Mai presented a report on the dismissal of Mr. Huynh Van Hanh, former Director of the Department of Justice of Ho Chi Minh City (retired from October 1, 2024), from the position of member of the People's Committee of the 10th term, term 2021-2026.
The delegates of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Council unanimously voted to dismiss Mr. Huynh Van Hanh from the position of member of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee.
At the meeting, Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee Phan Van Mai submitted a proposal to add Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice, to the position of member of the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee, term X, 2021-2026.

The proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City was unanimously approved by the delegates of the People's Council of Ho Chi Minh City and voted. As a result, Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh, Director of the Department of Justice of Ho Chi Minh City was elected as an additional member of the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City.
Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Hanh was born in 1974, from Binh Thuan , has a master's degree in Law, a bachelor's degree in Politics, and a senior degree in Political Theory. She is a delegate of the 15th National Assembly.
Ms. Hanh has worked at the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice since 2003 and has held the position of Deputy Director of the Department since March 16, 2018. Previously, she held the position of Head of the Organization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice.
This October, she was appointed Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Justice.
