Cao Bang fellow countrymen singing exchange in Hanoi - Cao Bang Electronic Newspaper

On the afternoon of September 21, in Hanoi, the Cao Bang Association organized the program "Exchange of Cao Bang fellow countrymen's singing" to celebrate the 75th anniversary of Cao Bang liberation (October 3, 1950 - October 3, 2025).

Attending the event were comrades: Ly Thi Hue, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Chairwoman of the Provincial Farmers' Association; Ha Ngoc Chien, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Chairman of the National Assembly's Ethnic Council, former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Dam Thom, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Cao Bang Association in Hanoi , and many fellow countrymen.

The program took place in a lively and warm atmosphere with more than 20 singing, dancing and music performances by more than 30 members. Although not professional, the performances were full of emotions, expressing love for the homeland, national pride, conveying the thoughts and feelings of those who are far from their homeland of Cao Bang.

This is a meaningful activity within the series of celebrations of the 35th anniversary of the establishment and operation of the Cao Bang Association in Hanoi. After more than three decades, the Association now has 8 branches with more than 500 members, regularly organizing many community-building activities, visiting sick members, giving gifts to policy families, supporting the needy, and supporting the construction of "charity houses". In 2024, the Association mobilized 105 million VND in donations to support people to overcome the consequences of storm No. 3.

The exchange program is not only an opportunity for Cao Bang compatriots in the capital to meet and share, but also contributes to spreading the cultural identity of their homeland, arousing the spirit of solidarity, and together looking back to their roots.
