In particular, joining in the fun with the children in the area was Member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City Bui Huyen Mai.

With the theme “The Golden Moon lights up the dreams of Phu Xuyen children”, the program aims to create a joyful, safe and warm atmosphere for children during the Mid-Autumn Festival, especially those in difficult circumstances. This is also a practical activity demonstrating the care and concern of the Party Committee, government, Fatherland Front and local organizations for the protection, care and education of children. At the same time, the event contributes to raising awareness of families, schools and the whole society in implementing children's rights, helping children develop comprehensively in terms of physical, intellectual and spiritual aspects in a safe and friendly environment.
The program opened with a traditional ceremony: Declaration of the reason, introduction of delegates, reading of the President 's letter to children on the occasion of Mid-Autumn Festival and opening speech by the leader of the Commune People's Committee. This was followed by the presentation of gifts to children in special circumstances, children from poor and near-poor households.

On this occasion, Phu Xuyen Primary School presented 1,152 gifts to all students in the school, creating a common joy on the Mid-Autumn Festival. Phu Xuyen Commune People's Committee also presented 185 gifts to children, demonstrating the care and concern of the local government. In addition, the school coordinated with the Parents' Association to present 36 gifts to children in especially difficult circumstances. The total value of the school's gifts to students on this occasion was more than 100 million VND.

Speaking at the festival, Vice Chairman of Phu Xuyen Commune People's Committee Nguyen Bich Phuong expressed her joy when the locality welcomed the city leaders to join in the fun with the children. Vice Chairman of Phu Xuyen Commune People's Committee Nguyen Bich Phuong affirmed: "This year's Full Moon Festival not only brings joy and warmth to the children, but is also an opportunity for us to honor traditional cultural values, spread the spirit of solidarity and kindness in the community. Each child should always strive to study, practice, become a good child of Uncle Ho, and contribute to building Phu Xuyen homeland more and more prosperous and beautiful".

The festival atmosphere was more bustling with lion and dragon dances, circus performances, and art performances by children and artists. The clear melodies, innocent dances, and fun folk games brought the children a colorful spiritual feast. The moments of carrying star lanterns, enjoying moon-watching, and interacting with Hang and Cuoi left many beautiful memories in the children's hearts, evoking love for tradition and community cohesion.

Notably, this year’s program also incorporates life skills education, injury prevention, and child abuse prevention; at the same time, encourages creativity through food tray competitions, lantern making, and recreating the beauty of traditional Mid-Autumn Festival. Thereby, it not only helps children have a complete Tet holiday, but also contributes to promoting the image of Phu Xuyen - a land of hundreds of professions, rich in cultural identity.
