Art program at the Countryside Market Festival 2025

Right after the merger under the 2-level local government model, at the end of July, for the first time at Phu Bai Ward Central Park (1141 Nguyen Tat Thanh, Phu Bai Ward), a community music night took place.

With the theme “Sacred Vietnam”, the program brings the audience moments of contemplation, together looking back to the roots, showing gratitude to the past to continue writing the story of the future. The music program also creates a community living space to help people relax and entertain after work, study, work, encourage artistic activities, folk culture, contributing to preserving local cultural identity. At the same time, it contributes to forming the habit of participating in civilized and healthy community activities in the evening; enlivening the urban space at night, building the image of Phu Bai ward as friendly and dynamic.

The music night took place with the participation of leaders, officials and hundreds of people in the ward to enjoy. This is also an opportunity to promote and introduce the culture, people and land of Phu Bai. Mr. Ngo Thanh Nam in Phu Bai ward shared that he and many local people are passionate about music, so when he heard that the ward organized a lyrical and revolutionary music night on the weekend, it really made him excited and moved. Hopefully, the weekend music night will be maintained to serve the people and attract tourists to Phu Bai ward.

Mr. Le Ba Minh Hai, Chairman of Phu Bai Ward People's Committee informed that in addition to the art and music programs on weekend nights, the ward is organizing a review of products, services, culture and historical relics specific to the locality to organize for tourists to visit and experience. In Phu Bai, there will be tours to explore and experience the Duong Hoa War Zone relic... associated with new art and music performances of each locality.

Mr. Nguyen Van Khang, Chairman of Thanh Thuy Ward People's Committee, said that in addition to organizing music nights, the local government is exploiting the potential of historical and cultural relics, especially Thanh Toan Tile Bridge. Departments mobilize people to participate in music nights, combined with supporting the organization of culinary services, entertainment, traditional craft experiences, etc. to serve the needs of tourists. On weekends, the Thanh Toan Tile Bridge tourist area attracts thousands of tourists.

In addition to the Thuy Thanh card game (Thanh Thuy ward) - a part of the Thua Thien Hue card game (now Hue city) recognized by UNESCO as a world intangible cultural heritage, in the wards there are also dozens of historical and cultural relics ranked at national and provincial levels. Tourists and people coming to the localities will learn and explore valuable cultural, artistic and scenic relics. This is a heritage source that has been invested hundreds of billions of VND by the wards to preserve and promote in order to continue the cultural source, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality. The degraded relics have just been restored, repaired and upgraded such as the historical relic commemorating the Lum Chanh Dong event, Hoa Phong communal house, the renovation of the Thanh Toan tile bridge relic site, the relic cluster of Thuy Duong communal house and pagoda...

Promoting the value of historical and cultural relics, in recent years, Huong Thuy town (old) has exploited and introduced attractive tourism activities and experiences for tourists and local people. Many festivals such as the Rural Market, Thanh Toan Tile Bridge, rafting race and nearly 40 other festivals and tourism activities have been exploited.

Students are given opportunities by localities and schools to visit, explore and learn about historical and cultural relics to enrich their knowledge, contributing to preserving and inheriting the beauty and historical and cultural values ​​passed down from generation to generation.
