On the morning of June 20, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee coordinated with the People's Committee of Cam Xuyen district to organize a training conference on traffic safety for more than 200 delegates who are officers working on traffic safety and schools located in the area.

Speaking at the training conference, Chief of Office of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee Nguyen Van Tan emphasized: Through the training course, the Ha Tinh Provincial Traffic Safety Committee wishes to improve knowledge on traffic safety work for officials, party members, civil servants, and public employees at district and commune levels in the area. These will be propagandists for agencies, units, families, relatives, and friends in properly implementing traffic safety laws and preventing traffic accidents .

At the conference, delegates listened to officers from the Traffic Police Department, Ha Tinh Provincial Police, brief them on the situation of traffic order and safety on roads, railways and inland waterways in the province in recent times; and introduced new regulations on handling administrative violations in the field of traffic.

The conference also heard the Inspectorate of the Department of Transport of Ha Tinh province explain the situation of management and handling of overloaded vehicles, traffic safety corridors in the province and Cam Xuyen district.

On this occasion, the Traffic Safety Committee of Ha Tinh province also presented Cam Xuyen district with 28 billboards to propagate traffic safety messages.

In the first 6 months of 2023, Ha Tinh province had 87 traffic accidents, killing 68 people and injuring 32 people; an increase of 41 cases compared to the same period in 2022.

Particularly in Cam Xuyen district, in the first 6 months of 2023, there were 12 traffic accidents, killing 10 people and injuring 2 people; compared to the same period in 2022, there was an increase of 6 cases compared to the same period in 2022.
