Introduction to Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT)

VNPT is a company with a long history, tradition, and history, born in the revolution and growing up with the country, with the 78-year tradition of the Vietnam Post industry. The predecessor was the Specialized Traffic Board - the predecessor of the postal industry, to the Vietnam Post Office, the General Department of Posts and Telecommunications, the General Department of Posts and Telecommunications, to the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Corporation, and on January 9, 2006, the Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group was established. Currently, VNPT is a national group of telecommunications and information technology with 114 member units with nearly 50,000 employees, doing business and providing services in 63 provinces/cities in Vietnam and many countries around the world. In the digital age, with the trend of converging telecommunications and information technology according to the strategic orientation of VNPT4.0, Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group is shifting from a communications service provider to a "digital communications service provider" (DSP). VNPT's vision: to become the leading provider of digital infrastructure and digital services in Vietnam by 2025 and become a Digital Hub of the Asia region by 2030 with the mission: Providing customers and partners with quality, innovative and breakthrough Telecommunication - IT; Media and Digital Services; Becoming a Digital Hub of Asia, honoring and recognizing the true value of employees. To realize its Vision and Mission, while ensuring service quality to meet the needs of nearly 50 million customers and especially the digital transformation needs of the Government, ministries, branches, localities and customers, VNPT Group has been focusing on developing 3 main service groups: Telecommunications services. Digital services for government customers/ministries, businesses and household customers and individual customers/; Other products and services on: Industrial production and consulting, design, construction and installation services... Affirming its reputation and position by participating in promoting and supporting the Government and local ministries and branches to develop e-Government towards digital Government and digital economy, VNPT Group has researched and mastered new technologies such as IOT, Cloud, AI/BigData,... to develop and provide a comprehensive digital transformation ecosystem for the government, organizations and businesses.
