On September 11, the Government Office issued a document announcing Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha's Conclusion on the progress of the Long Thanh International Airport Project Phase 1 and connecting infrastructure projects.

The announcement clearly states: the target of completing, meeting the standards and conditions for the inauguration of the project according to regulations on December 19, 2025 as directed by the Prime Minister is unchanged. In case of failure to complete this progress requirement, the competent authority and project investors must take full responsibility and promptly report to the Prime Minister.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the People's Committee of Dong Nai province to complete and hand over the entire site at the National Highway 51 intersection of the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway project in September so that the Vietnam Expressway Corporation (VEC) can complete the Ben Luc - Long Thanh Expressway project according to the committed schedule, in order to soon connect synchronously with the Long Thanh International Airport project, promoting the effectiveness of project investment.

Regarding connecting infrastructure projects, the Deputy Prime Minister requested the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, Dong Nai province, the Ministry of Construction , competent authorities and investors to continue to focus on inspecting, urging and directing the acceleration of the progress of connecting traffic routes, fuel pipeline systems, fiber optic cables and other connecting works to ensure synchronous completion according to the committed schedule; noting that for the fuel pipeline system, long-term calculations must be made, including research on storage and supply options for clean fuel according to international regulations.

The People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and Dong Nai province directed relevant departments and branches of the province to review and study scientific and reasonable traffic diversion plans to ensure the safety and smooth flow of personal vehicles, vehicles transporting construction materials, goods (especially container trucks), and passengers, and to minimize traffic jams and accidents during the entire construction and operation of Long Thanh International Airport.

On the same day, the Government Office issued a document announcing Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha's conclusion on a number of key projects and works in Ninh Binh province.

The Deputy Prime Minister requested the People's Committee of Ninh Binh province to proactively coordinate with the Ministry of Construction on the establishment of the Ninh Binh International Airport Project in the process of researching, supplementing and adjusting the Master Plan for the development of the national airport system for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050; on that basis, the Ministry of Construction will synthesize and report to the Prime Minister according to regulations.
