Construction of inter-port road connecting Long Thanh airport started

On September 27, Dong Nai province held a groundbreaking ceremony for the Inter-port Road Construction Investment Project (Phase 1), with a total investment of VND 2,659 billion.

This is one of eight works and projects that Dong Nai province has started, launched and broken ground simultaneously to welcome the 1st Dong Nai Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030, towards the 14th National Party Congress.

The inter-port road is more than 15 km long, the starting point connects with Ong Keo Industrial Park road and the end point connects with the road to Viet Thuan Thanh Port.

In which, phase 1 of the project will build a route of more than 8.8 km in Dai Phuoc commune, divided into 2 sections, of which section 1 is 6.9 km long with 8 lanes; section 2 is 1.9 km long with 4 lanes; 5 bridges will be built on the route.

The total investment in phase 1 of the Project is 2,659 billion VND, from Dong Nai province's budget, construction period is 36 months from the commencement date.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vo Tan Duc said: The first phase of the inter-port road project, when completed, will play a role in connecting the road traffic system of seaport areas, creating favorable conditions for investment and exploitation of the seaport system in Dai Phuoc commune.

In addition, the inter-port route will help connect with Long Thanh International Airport; forming a chain of ports - logistics - industrial parks - riverside urban areas, creating economic development momentum for Dong Nai and provinces and cities in the Southern Key Economic Zone.

Mr. Vo Tan Duc requested the Project Management Board of Region 6 to direct contractors to mobilize maximum human resources and equipment; organize construction to ensure safety and efficiency; at the same time, promote the application of digital transformation in management, supervision and acceptance.

At the same time, units and localities are required to coordinate in implementing compensation, resettlement support, and removing difficulties in material sources, transportation, and environment so that the project can be implemented on schedule.

On the same day, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province coordinated with investors to simultaneously organize the groundbreaking ceremony, launch and ground breaking ceremony of 7 social housing projects with a total scale of more than 7,000 apartments, including: ChC1 and ChC2 social housing project in Phuoc Tan ward; Social housing project in Tam Hiep ward; Social housing apartment complex project in 2.1 ha land area in Phuoc An commune; Social housing apartment complex project in 3.7 ha land area in Phuoc An commune; Social housing project in 3.5 ha land area in Trang Bom commune; Social housing project in 2.85 ha land area in Ho Nai ward; Social housing project in Tan Trieu ward.
