Users can also connect Google apps like Calendar, Notes, Tasks, and Photos to Gemini to leverage AI in daily task management.

In addition, Google is expanding its Deep Research feature – an AI tool that supports in-depth research, helping to synthesize information from multiple sources on the web. With the new update, Deep Research can plan, search, analyze, and create more detailed reports. Users can test this feature for free a few times a month, while Gemini Advanced subscribers will have broader access.

Google also upgraded its Gemini 2.0 Flash Thinking Experimental AI model, making it faster and more efficient at solving complex questions. Gemini Advanced users can now take advantage of a 1 million token context window, allowing the AI ​​to process much larger amounts of information than before.

In particular, Google is rolling out Gems, a feature that lets users create AI assistants that are specialized to their individual needs, such as translators, meal planners, or math coaches. Users can customize Gems by entering instructions and uploading relevant files.

To support developers, Google also launched Gemma 3, an open-source AI model capable of analyzing text, images, and short videos . Additionally, two new AI models – Gemini Robotics and Gemini Robotics-ER – were released, focusing on advanced reasoning.

These upgrades mark a major step forward for Google in scaling Gemini, while also increasing its competitiveness against global AI rivals.
