At the time of inspection, Market Management Team No. 14 discovered that the establishment was selling 426 pairs of shoes bearing famous brands such as Adidas, Nike, Louis Vuitton, Prada, Burberry, and Valentino, showing signs of counterfeiting trademarks protected in Vietnam.

The total value of goods, calculated according to the listed price at the store, is up to 179.37 million VND.

Along with that, the authorities also discovered 2,144 footwear products of all kinds manufactured abroad, without invoices or documents proving their origin. The total value was more than 2.25 billion VND. In total, the number of goods with signs of violations discovered during the inspection was 2,570 products, with a total listed value of more than 2.43 billion VND.

In addition, the facility also did not fulfill its obligation to notify the competent authority of the electronic sales website as prescribed by law before selling.

Currently, all of the above goods have been temporarily detained by Market Management Team No. 14 for further verification, clarification and handling according to the provisions of law.

Authorities recommend that consumers need to be alert, choose reputable shopping addresses, and proactively denounce acts of trading in counterfeit goods and goods of unknown origin to contribute to protecting consumer rights and maintaining a healthy commercial environment.
