Ha Tinh is synchronously deploying solutions to implement Decision 338/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on the Project to develop at least 1 million social housing apartments in the 2021-2030 period, striving to complete about 3,700 apartments by 2030. According to the Department of Construction, the demand for social housing in Ha Tinh has increased by 20% compared to the previous year, mainly concentrated in urban areas.

Currently, based on the provincial housing development program and plan; approved urban and rural planning and actual needs in the area, the Department of Construction of Ha Tinh has coordinated with the People's Committees of communes and wards to review, identify and propose 14 land locations with a total area of nearly 80 hectares to develop social housing in the province in the coming time.
Specifically, the 14 land plots include: land plot at Hai Ha residential area (Hai Ninh ward) with an area of 9 hectares; land plot at Tan Thang residential area (Hai Ninh ward) with an area of 7 hectares; land plot at Quyen Thuong residential area (Song Tri ward) with an area of 5.75 hectares.
The land belongs to Cam Binh commune (old Thach Binh commune) with an area of 6.85 hectares; the land belongs to Nam Thuong residential area (Ha Huy Tap ward) with an area of 4.2 hectares; the land belongs to Tan Hoc residential area (Tran Phu ward) with an area of 7.31 hectares; the land belongs to Thanh Sen ward (old Tran Phu ward) with an area of 6.64 hectares; the land belongs to Thuan Minh and Quynh Lam residential areas (Bac Hong Linh ward) with an area of 4.9 hectares.

The land belongs to village 8 (Duc Tho commune) with an area of 2 hectares; the land belongs to Ky Tay village (Co Dam commune) with an area of 2.6 hectares; the land belongs to Vung Coi, Nam Vien village, Nghi Xuan commune (old Xuan Vien) with an area of 11 hectares; the land belongs to Trua village (Son Tien commune) with an area of 0.6 hectares and the land belongs to Residential Group 7 (Nam Hong Linh ward) with an area of 8.05 hectares.
Based on the land locations for social housing development, the Department of Construction will continue to coordinate with relevant departments, branches and localities to update and supplement housing development plans, coordinate with relevant units to adjust the planning for the Provincial People's Committee to approve according to regulations.
