Ha Tinh focuses on implementing key national projects

Determined, creative, on-time finish

In the 2020-2025 term, Ha Tinh left a strong mark when it, together with the whole country, implemented key national projects, notably the 500 kV line 3 and the North-South expressway passing through the area. In just a short time, when the "order" from the Government was issued, the will and solidarity of the people of Ha Tinh were affirmed and shone strongly.

Ha Tinh people are willing to give up land and relocate their houses to implement the 500 kV circuit 3 project.

Mr. Duong Thanh Hoa - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade said: "The 500 kV line 3 is a historic project because the construction time is extremely short compared to previous similar projects. Among the 9 provinces and cities that the project passes through, Ha Tinh has the largest volume, meaning the largest land acquisition in a short time. The State has reclaimed about 4,574,627m2 ^of land with 1,276 households affected, 74 households relocated. By concentrating resources and "lightning-fast" working methods, local authorities at all levels have promptly handed over 100% of the clean site to the investor."

The entire political system participated in supporting the construction of the 500 kV line, circuit 3, through Ha Tinh.

For the benefit of the nation and people, to ensure the progress of the projects, hundreds of households were willing to donate their houses and leave the land containing many memories of their ancestors for many generations. Many typical examples appeared, many families voluntarily dismantled the construction before receiving compensation.

Deploying in parallel with the 500 kV line 3 project, with determination, effort and creativity, Ha Tinh has completed site clearance for the North-South expressway project in the East phase 2021-2025 on schedule.

Mr. Le Anh Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Construction said: "The process of land acquisition for the North - South expressway project in the East through Ha Tinh encountered many difficulties when the land area to be recovered was large, complicated, and related to the interests of thousands of households while the deadline assigned by the Government was urgent. However, with a creative and effective approach, the province promptly handed over the clean site, ensuring the urgent progress of the project."

The North-South Expressway project plays a key role in completing key transport infrastructure.

It can be seen that the 500 kV circuit 3 project has affirmed an important next step in the "march" to bring electricity from the South and Central regions to the North, "solving the problem" of power supply shortage in the North; the North-South expressway project plays a key role in completing key traffic infrastructure, connecting economic zones and regions, creating momentum for spread and prosperity.

Join hands to promote new mega project

From the success of key national projects and valuable lessons learned from the companionship and solidarity of Party committees and authorities at all levels, the consensus, responsibility and sacrifice of the people, Ha Tinh will certainly complete the site clearance work for the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis to ensure progress.

The project is over 103 km long, starting at Bac Hong Linh ward, ending at Vung Ang ward, with 3 stations planned (2 passenger stations, 1 freight station). The whole province is expected to have 23 communes and wards within the project scope with nearly 1,800 households affected; of which, about 1,300 households must be resettled; it is expected to build 35 resettlement areas.

Ha Tinh plans to build 35 resettlement areas to serve the construction of the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis.

On August 19, 2025, the first resettlement area in Lien Vinh residential group (Ha Huy Tap ward) officially started construction. With its proactiveness and determination, Ha Tinh was praised by Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha at the meeting to deploy the project's site clearance work.

Mr. To Thai Hoa - Chairman of the People's Committee of Ha Huy Tap Ward said: "With this project, the locality undertakes the largest volume of land acquisition in the province. Operating a two-level local government and implementing many large projects at the same time, the workload is huge, but the ward still focuses on the national key project. We determine that the "key" to success in land acquisition is still "skillful mass mobilization", promoting endogenous strength, creating consensus and support from the people".

Mr. Le Tu Sam (Ha Huy Tap ward) - the pioneer household giving up land for the project confided: "No one in life wants to change their place of residence, especially farmers - when every inch of land and corner of the house has been attached to them for generations. However, for the greater good, my family will give up more than 2,300 ^{square meters} for the project and relocate the resettlement area."

Localities are speeding up site clearance progress for the high-speed railway project on the North-South axis.

At the groundbreaking ceremony of the Lien Vinh residential resettlement area project, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Tat Thang requested the investor and all levels and sectors to consider this a key political task, and prioritize all resources for implementation. At the same time, along with speeding up the progress, it is necessary to closely follow the grassroots to propagate, mobilize, promptly resolve legitimate petitions and aspirations, and create consensus among the people.
