Navy Squadron 129 visits and gives gifts to children of fishermen in difficult circumstances

On the morning of August 29, in Binh Chau commune, Ho Chi Minh City, a working delegation of the 129th Naval Squadron led by Lieutenant Colonel Le Xuan Tam, Deputy Political Commissar of the Squadron, visited and presented gifts to the fishermen's children sponsored by the unit on the occasion of preparing for the new school year.

The working group of Naval Division 129 gave gifts to Pham Thi Uyen.

According to information from local authorities, Pham Thi Uyen's family is in difficult circumstances. Her mother is a trader and her father went missing while fishing at sea. The family is currently relying on her uncle's family.

The activity "Navy sponsors fishermen's children" was launched by the Navy, mobilizing all resources of agencies and units in the entire Navy to support, encourage and empower fishermen's children in difficult circumstances, helping them have conditions to study and develop; this activity is not only material support but also has profound political , social and humanistic significance, contributing to encouraging fishermen to confidently go out to sea and protect the sovereignty of the sea and islands. From 2023 to present, Squadron 129 has visited, encouraged and given gifts to support Pham Thi Uyen with a total amount of 24 million VND.
