Hai Duong officially surpasses 30 trillion VND in budget revenue

This is the data announced by the Provincial Statistics Office at a press conference on the afternoon of January 2, 2025. Of which, domestic revenue reached VND 26,154 billion, an increase of 36.1% compared to 2023; revenue from import and export activities reached VND 4,371 billion, an increase of 46.1%.

In the total domestic budget revenue, land use fee revenue reached over VND 8,688 billion, exceeding 88% of the estimate and increasing 98% compared to 2023.

In terms of domestic budget revenue alone, excluding land use fees, lottery and profits and dividends, Hai Duong tax sector managed to collect nearly 17,374 billion VND, exceeding 42% of the estimate and increasing 18% compared to 2023.

Petroleum business accounts for the majority of environmental protection tax.

In 2024, many large revenues exceeded the annual estimate. Typically, revenue from foreign-invested enterprises reached nearly VND 7,948 billion, exceeding 35%, up 10% over the previous year; revenue from the non-state industrial, commercial and service sector was over VND 3,821 billion, exceeding 42% and increasing 29%; personal income tax revenue was over VND 1,489 billion, exceeding 46% and increasing 34%.

Despite implementing reductions according to the National Assembly 's Resolutions, Hai Duong still collected over 790 billion VND in environmental protection tax and over 720 billion VND in registration fees, both exceeding 22% and 47% of the estimate, respectively; fees and charges exceeded 25%; revenue from central and local state-owned enterprises exceeded 40% and 20% of the estimate, respectively...

In 2025, the estimated state budget revenue in Hai Duong province is assigned 27,580 billion VND, an increase of more than 40.4% of the estimate in 2024. Of which, domestic revenue is 23,680 billion VND, an increase of more than 39.95% compared to the estimate in 2024; import-export tax revenue is 3,900 billion VND, an increase of nearly 43.4%. The budget revenue target in 2025 of Hai Duong province strives to exceed the estimate by at least 10%.
