According to the Military Admissions Board of Hai Duong province, in 2024, the whole province has more than 1,000 candidates registering for the preliminary selection for military academies and universities. Of these, 322 candidates are eligible for admission, 68 candidates have passed the entrance exam, reaching 21.11% (an increase of 3 candidates compared to 2023).

Some localities have a large number of candidates admitted to military schools such as Chi Linh city (14 candidates), Kinh Mon town (10 candidates), Hai Duong city and Gia Loc district (both 9 candidates).

Army Officer School 1 has the largest number of successful candidates (19 candidates), followed by Political Officer School (9 candidates), Artillery Officer School and Information Officer School (both 7 candidates)...
