Mong Cai Customs processed more than 19,000 declarations in the first month of the year

With the motto of accompanying and supporting businesses, removing difficulties, facilitating import and export activities, right from the beginning of the year, Mong Cai International Border Gate Customs has always maintained and promoted the effectiveness of the Business Support Team, guided businesses in each group of businesses and assigned care and support for businesses throughout, continuously and effectively.

By the end of March 14, 2025, Mong Cai International Border Gate Customs collected VND 462.8 billion in state budget revenue from import-export activities, an increase of 62% over the same period in 2024.

Besides, Mong Cai International Border Gate Customs always receives support and accompaniment from local authorities in attracting businesses and facilitating import-export activities.

Notably, on March 11, 2025, Chairman of Mong Cai City People's Committee (Vietnam) Ho Quang Huy and Mayor of Dongxing City (China) Li Jian signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation mechanism and research to build smart border gates.

Through the Memorandum of Understanding, the two sides agreed to promote the construction of Mong Cai - Dong Hung International Border Gate according to the smart border gate model, and at the same time implement key traffic connection projects such as Mong Cai - Dong Hung International Railway, Bac Luan III Bridge, auxiliary crude steel bridge and a number of other fields with the goal of increasing border trade, towards a more modern and effective trade model.

As of March 14, 2025, there were 687 enterprises participating in customs procedures through Mong Cai (including 198 in the province, 489 outside the province), an increase of 221 enterprises compared to the same period in 2024.
