Lieutenant Colonel Bui Duc Dong, Deputy Brigade Commander and Chief of Staff of Brigade 175, commander of the Vietnam Navy patrol ship, said: In addition to implementing the contents of the Joint Patrol Coordination Regulations, through communication channels, officers and soldiers of Ship 265 and Ship 1144 have actively propagated and mobilized fishermen of the two countries to strictly comply with the laws and regulations when exploiting seafood at sea (IUU), not to violate the sovereignty of other countries.
In addition, the Navies of the two countries have organized exchange activities and given gifts at sea, thereby enhancing understanding and trust, contributing to maintaining security, order, peace and stability in the historical waters of Vietnam - Cambodia.
