Thousands of candidates participate in the recruitment of young football talents of Dong A Thanh Hoa Club

To continue building the next generation of youth teams for the 2023-2025 period, Dong A Thanh Hoa Club organized a recruitment campaign across the province to search for and discover young talents and promising players. Thousands of candidates enthusiastically participated and tried their hand.

The program was implemented from June 10 to 23 with the preliminary round in 8 clusters in the province including: Quang Xuong (Quang Xuong, Sam Son City, Thanh Hoa City), Nong Cong (Nong Cong, Thieu Hoa, Nhu Xuan, Nhu Thanh), Nghi Son town (Nghi Son town, Nghe An ), Nga Son (Nga Son, Bim Son town, Hau Loc, Hoang Hoa), Thach Thanh (Thach Thanh, Vinh Loc, Yen Dinh, Ninh Binh), Ngoc Lac (Cam Thuy, Lang Chanh, Ngoc Lac), Thuong Xuan (Thuong Xuan, Tho Xuan, Trieu Son) and Ba Thuoc (Ba Thuoc, Quan Hoa, Quan Son, Muong Lat). Candidates born in 2008-2009 and 2010-2012 are the subjects of this recruitment round.

Regardless of the hot weather, thousands of candidates at the recruitment clusters participated in testing their abilities, seeking opportunities to compete for the youth teams of Dong A Thanh Hoa.

Director of the Dong A Thanh Hoa Youth Training Center, Svetislav Tanasijevic, is the person in charge of this important recruitment round. Also participating are members of the coaching staff of the Dong A Thanh Hoa youth teams. This Serbian coach has just won the 2023 National U19 Championship with the Dong A Thanh Hoa U19 team.

The new point of this year's recruitment is that candidates from other provinces are also allowed to participate in the preliminary selection. Athletes participating in the selection will be tested for height, weight, health according to standards; jumping ability, speed, command, dexterity, agility, and must also go through the competition (players are divided into teams), testing the ability to coordinate defense, attack, and finish...

After the preliminary selection round in 8 regions, the best candidates will participate in the final round, held at the provincial stadium on June 23. The candidates will continue to undergo the final examination to select the best faces to supplement the youth teams of Dong A Thanh Hoa.

Through that, the Club will discover real young football talents, supplementing the front-line youth teams such as U13, U15, preparing to participate in upcoming national tournaments.
