"Kindness Trip" September with beautiful stories about connection and support for children in difficult circumstances.
“Kindness Trip” is a journey to support volunteer groups to spread good deeds for the community and those in difficult and unfortunate circumstances. Since the beginning of 2025, “Kindness Trip” has had 156 journeys across the S-shaped strip of land to carry out many activities for the community. Each journey has special and warm marks: from building bridges and houses for people in difficult circumstances, to building recycled playgrounds and book libraries for children in mountainous areas, organizing Lunar New Year and Mid-Autumn Festival for lonely elderly people and unfortunate children, supporting medical supplies for the poor or helping ethnic minority students go to school...
For example, the journey of the July bus with the theme "My joy" brings viewers to meet Lau Nguyen Huong Giang, project manager "Getting to study - Sponsoring old laptops for ethnic minority students". This is a project to collect old laptops, repair them and give them back to ethnic minority students facing difficulties on their way to school. Lau Nguyen Huong Giang has been implementing this project for 2 years, stemming from understanding. Up to now, the project has donated more than 600 laptops, connected 40 volunteers, organized more than 10 free skill courses from programming, design to content building, presentations... for ethnic minority students. On the journey, there is also the "Dung Laptop" store of Mr. Vu Van Dung, supporting the repair of old laptops, refurbishing them and giving them to students; or the 24h Laptop Repair system "sponsoring" the cost of replacing components. During the “Kindness Trip” in July, 11 ethnic minority students received scholarships and laptops.
In September, the “Kindness Bus” brought a special journey for excellent students from 7 shelters sponsored by the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Charity Association. Children who used to collect scrap metal, carry heavy loads, sell lottery tickets... to support themselves were welcomed into the shelters of the Ho Chi Minh City Women's Charity Association. Here, they not only have a place to eat and stay but also go to school and live in love and protection. To date, these 7 shelters have raised more than 2,100 children. The “Kindness Bus” gave something special to 30 excellent students from 7 shelters. The children wore white ao dai donated by the “0 Dong Ao Dai” shop (founded by two sisters Doan Thi Nguyet and Doan Truc Linh who specialize in donating ao dai to people in difficult circumstances), along with the mothers of the shelters and editor Ba Thang, offered flowers at the Ho Chi Minh President Monument, and toured the city on a double-decker bus. Also joining this journey are artists Mer and Truong Hoan bringing unique musical performances.
“Kindness Bus” brings to viewers many warm stories of humanity and sharing in life. There are people who silently do good deeds with sincerity and understanding. And “Kindness Bus” connects to spread good things, together with them to support disadvantaged situations through practical charity projects.
