HDBank affirms its position with a series of ESG, foreign exchange and international payment awards

Continuing to affirm its pioneering role in implementing ESG strategy, on July 15, HDBank was honored for the third consecutive time in the Top 50 Outstanding Sustainable Development Enterprises in Vietnam voted by Nhip Cau Dau Tu Magazine.

The award recognizes HDBank 's efforts in integrating Environmental (E), Social (S) and Governance (G) factors into its operational strategy, with a long-term, effective and sustainable development orientation.

Over the past years, HDBank has implemented specific action programs: expanding the green credit portfolio, prioritizing the fields of renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and high technology. From 2019 to now, the bank has disbursed more than 31,000 billion VND for green projects, accompanying Vietnam's transition to a green economy .

In addition, HDBank is one of the first banks to apply a comprehensive environmental and social risk management system (ESMS) in its credit granting activities. 100% of corporate loans in the category of those affecting the environment are reviewed, classified according to international standards, and consulted to ensure transparent and responsible use of capital.

Affirming its pioneering role, HDBank is one of the first banks in Vietnam to issue a Sustainable Development Report according to international standards, and at the same time establish an ESG Committee under the Board of Directors to improve the capacity to direct and supervise the implementation of sustainable development strategies across the system.

HDBank was honored for the third consecutive time in the Top 50 Outstanding Sustainable Development Enterprises in Vietnam.

This award continues to affirm HDBank's position as a modern, pioneering ESG bank with a long-term vision and strong commitment to accompanying the prosperous development of the community and the Vietnamese economy.

Also on this occasion, HDBank was honored by the international organization The Global Economics (UK) with two international awards: "Bank providing the best foreign exchange services for corporate customers" and "Bank with the most advanced international money transfer program".

The two awards are recognition from the international community for HDBank's strong digitalization efforts and continuous improvement of service quality to provide modern financial solutions according to global standards, effectively serving domestic businesses and international customers with cross-border operations.

In particular, the award “Best Corporate Foreign Exchange Bank” demonstrates HDBank's outstanding capacity in developing specialized, effective and flexible foreign exchange trading solutions for customers, especially corporate customers.

In international payment activities, the award “Best Bank for Advanced International Transfer Programs” reflects HDBank’s strong commitment to deploying fast, safe and effective cross-border solutions. Thanks to the application of SWIFT GPI technology, customers can track transaction status in real time, shortening the transfer time from a few days to a few minutes or a few hours. Transactions are supported in multiple currencies and are easily performed through multiple channels: at the counter, Internet Banking, digital banking applications.
