In phase 1, the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City and HDBank put into operation a smart medical reception system to serve registration for testing, vaccination and general examination via a self-service kiosk system and mobile application.
The deployment of smart medical kiosks at Pasteur Institute brings many practical benefits to people: reducing the burden on the Institute, helping patients save time and effort during the medical examination and treatment process.
The next phases will synchronously deploy many subsystems: test result management system; vaccination and general examination with online lookup; water and food testing management system; training management system; and IOC for the Board of Directors to comprehensively monitor the Institute's activities. These subsystems are expected to be expanded from the fourth quarter of 2025.
Speaking at the launching ceremony and official operation of this system, Associate Professor, Doctor, Specialist II, Mr. Nguyen Vu Trung, Director of the Pasteur Institute of Ho Chi Minh City shared: “Our Institute has always been a leading unit in the field of research, vaccination, diagnosis and testing. Cooperating with HDBank to deploy Smart Medical Kiosk is a strategic step, helping us add more modern tools to continue to optimize the reception, registration and payment process, reduce the burden on the hospital, and at the same time help people save time and effort, thereby having better experiences in the process of medical examination and treatment”.
MEDIPAY smart medical kiosk is an initiative pioneered by HDBank since 2024, in coordination with the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Health under the Government's Project 6. To date, HDBank has completed the deployment of kiosks in more than 200 hospitals nationwide and aims to complete 1,001 kiosks by the end of 2025.
