The 1st Congress of Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, was honored to receive congratulatory flower baskets from General Secretary To Lam and Party and State leaders: Luong Cuong, President; Pham Minh Chinh, Prime Minister; Tran Thanh Man, Chairman of the National Assembly; Tran Cam Tu, Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat.

Party Central Committee members: Huynh Thanh Dat, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission; Nguyen Thanh Tam, Deputy Head of the Central Organization Commission; Nguyen Hoang Anh, Deputy Head of the Central Policy and Strategy Commission; Nguyen Van Loi, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Ho Chi Minh City; representatives of leaders of central departments, ministries and branches; leaders of several provinces and cities; leaders of Military Region 7; Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, Heroes of Labor, former leaders of the province through the periods, and 450 delegates representing more than 131,000 party members in the entire provincial Party Committee.

Speaking at the opening of the Congress, Comrade Vu Hong Van, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, emphasized that thoroughly grasping Directive 45 of the Politburo and the Central Committee's guiding documents on Party Congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Congress of the Party, along with completing the targets for 2025 and the 2020-2025 term, the Provincial Party Executive Committee has focused on leading and successfully organizing the Congress at the Party Committees under the province, ensuring the correct principles, procedures and quality, becoming a broad political activity, promoting the intelligence and strength of solidarity among cadres, party members and people.

In addition, the Provincial Party Executive Committee has focused on preparing documents for the 1st Provincial Party Congress, ensuring quality, conciseness, science, and strictness in accordance with regulations and instructions of the Central Committee.

Comrade Vu Hong Van, Provincial Party Secretary, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Dong Nai province delivered the opening speech at the Congress.

Looking back at the past term, the province has experienced many difficulties and challenges, especially in responding to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, with the spirit of solidarity, the Party Committee and the people's government of the two localities of Dong Nai - Binh Phuoc (formerly) have made efforts to control and overcome the consequences of the pandemic; resolutely, creatively and flexibly deploy solutions to successfully implement resolutions of Party delegates at all levels.

The work of Party building and political system building has been focused on and has clearly changed, especially the completion of the organization of the two-level local government apparatus to ensure streamlining, effectiveness, efficiency and building a team of ethical cadres with sufficient courage and capacity to meet the requirements in the new context.

Comrade Ton Ngoc Hanh, Alternate Member of the Party Central Committee, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the congress.

In the period 2020-2025, the economic growth rate reached 7.11%/year; GRDP per capita reached more than 153 million VND/person/year. The economic structure shifted in the right direction, towards industry and services. Strategic infrastructure, especially transportation, logistics, green and ecological industrial park infrastructure, was promoted. Budget revenue exceeded estimates for many years; the investment and business environment improved.

There has been much progress in social culture, social security work has been taken care of regularly; the material and spiritual life of the people has been improved. National defense and security have been maintained, social order and safety have been ensured; foreign affairs and international integration have been promoted, and people's trust in the Party has continued to be consolidated and fostered sustainably.

The 1st Congress of the Dong Nai Provincial Party Committee took place at a significant moment for the country. After nearly four decades of renovation, under the leadership of the Party, our nation has overcome countless difficulties and challenges, steadily moving forward, affirming Vietnam's position in the international arena.

In particular, in the context of administrative unit arrangement and organization of a 2-level local government model, the consolidation of development space between Dong Nai and Binh Phuoc has created a large development space, a "golden opportunity" for breakthrough growth in the new period.

Therefore, this Congress has the mission of accompanying and creating. With the spirit of seeking knowledge and responsibility before the Party and the people, each delegate needs to focus their intelligence on research and discussion to successfully complete the contents of the Congress.

The entire Congress always deeply believes that under the leadership of the Party Central Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat headed by General Secretary To Lam and the support and assistance of the Central Committees, ministries and branches, the Party Committee, government, army and people of Dong Nai province will always promote the tradition of patriotism, the spirit of solidarity, the will of self-reliance, the aspiration for development, and the determination to build a green, prosperous, civilized and modern Dong Nai.
