Tuan Giao District People's Council met to pass 21 resolutions

Delegates of Tuan Giao District People's Council resolved to pass the resolutions.

At this session, delegates reviewed and evaluated the implementation of socio -economic development, national defense and security tasks in 2023 and decided on important contents under the authority of the District People's Council.

The report at the meeting showed that in 2023, the district focused on leading and directing the implementation of socio-economic development targets, ensuring national defense and security and achieving many outstanding results . The socio-economic development targets all met and exceeded the plan, increasing compared to the same period last year : Budget revenue in the area is estimated at 60 billion VND, reaching 111% of the estimate ; planted 70 hectares of protective forest, reaching 140% of the plan, 50 hectares of production forest, reaching 100% of the plan; the poverty rate decreased to 33.64%, down 7.5 % compared to 2022 ...

At the meeting, the District People's Council reviewed 36 reports, 5 submissions, 21 draft resolutions of the Standing Committee of the People's Council, the People's Committee, and the People's Council Committees; conducted questions and answered questions from the leaders of the District People's Committee, a number of heads of district agencies and departments . The Chairman of the District People's Committee reported and explained further issues of concern to delegates, voters and people related to fields such as: policies , investment plans, agriculture and rural development, construction, finance... Delegates also participated in the vote of confidence for the position holders elected by the District People's Council, term XXI, term 2021 - 2026.

At the end of the session, delegates passed 21 resolutions. These are important resolutions, aiming to focus on mobilizing and allocating resources, attracting investment, and effectively using the State budget to further promote the district's socio-economic development, ensure social security, and maintain national defense and security.
