Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee, the Fatherland Front Committee, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, and delegates of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council attended the meeting.
Speaking at the opening of the session, comrade Le Van Hieu, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Hai Duong province, said that the 17th Provincial People's Council organized the 24th session (special session) to promptly deploy a number of contents and tasks.
Comrade Le Van Hieu requested the Provincial People's Council delegates to focus on studying and discussing the contents of this session. Through the supervision activities of the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council noted that the delegates need to carefully discuss two important contents, which are of interest to many voters and people: amending and supplementing the land price list for the period 2020-2024 in the province and stipulating criteria for deciding on the implementation of bidding to select investors to implement investment projects to build new urban areas or renovate and embellish urban areas, and rural residential area projects.
Comrade Le Van Hieu requested the delegates to work with a high sense of responsibility so that the Provincial People's Council can consider and decide correctly on the contents in accordance with regulations, creating favorable conditions for implementation and contributing to continuing to improve the quality of Provincial People's Council meetings.
The 24th session of Hai Duong Provincial People's Council is expected to take place in half a day, considering many important contents.
Along with the resolution on personnel work, the Hai Duong Provincial People's Council will consider the submissions of the Provincial People's Committee on the proposal to amend, supplement and extend the application period of the Land Price List for the period 2020-2024 in the province; issue a resolution on the list of public career services using the state budget in the field of natural resources and environment; issue a resolution on policies to support land for community activities, residential land, agricultural land, production and business land for ethnic minorities; issue regulations on criteria for deciding on the implementation of bidding to select investors to implement investment projects to build new urban areas or renovate and embellish urban areas and rural residential area projects.
The People's Council of Hai Duong province will also consider the investment policy of 9 public investment projects; adjust and allocate the 5-year public investment plan of local budget capital for 2021-2025 and 2024 for the 6th time (provincial budget source); the task of planning the construction zoning of 3 industrial parks: Hung Dao (Tu Ky), Hoang Dieu (Gia Loc), and Tan Truong expansion (Cam Giang).
