Hue honored at exhibition on country's 80-year achievements

On the morning of September 16, the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City announced that the exhibition held at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi) had closed.

Along with many other exhibition booths, Hue City's exhibition booth with its own unique design with the theme "Hue - Heritage, identity and green development vision" was highly appreciated by the Organizing Committee. At the closing ceremony, it was awarded the title "Outstanding exhibition space".

In addition, with outstanding contributions to the largest-ever exhibition event, Hue City People's Committee was honored to receive a Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister .

The Hue City booth has an area of nearly 650m2, designed and organized by the Department of Culture and Sports of Hue City, introducing to the public and international friends a comprehensive view of the historical journey, culture, identity and development orientation of Hue City - a land with more than 700 years of history, a place where the quintessence of national culture converges and is the first heritage city of Vietnam.

The highlight of the exhibition booth focuses on 5 areas including: Hue - from ancient to modern urban areas; Hue - heritage city; Hue - Ao Dai capital; OCOP product and experience space; Hue - green urban area and sustainable development.

With its own unique features, creating impressive highlights, Hue City's exhibition booth welcomed leaders of the Party, Government, ministries and thousands of tourists to visit and experience during the exhibition.

The cultural quintessence and heritage of Hue are introduced to the public.

In addition, Hue City also offers a culinary space of nearly 50 square meters managed by the Hue City Department of Tourism. This display area introduces the quintessence of Hue cuisine, receives many compliments and is always bustling with visitors enjoying and experiencing.

Participating in the exhibition not only affirms Hue's position as a unique cultural and tourist center of Vietnam, but also conveys the aspiration to build a city with sustainable development, environmentally friendly, blending the past and the future.
