Gia Lai: Focus on discovering and nurturing advanced role models

On September 25, Gia Lai province organized the 1st Patriotic Emulation Congress, period 2025 - 2030. This is an important political event, a festival to honor and commend advanced models and outstanding factors in the emulation movement period 2020 - 2025.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, said that over the past 5 years, the emulation movement of the province has had many positive changes, contributing to the overall development results. The average economic growth rate is nearly 7%/year, the economic structure has shifted in the right direction, the budget revenue is estimated at 27,000 billion VND, exceeding the estimate by 12%.

The congress honored 600 typical and advanced collectives and individuals in many fields.

Poverty reduction and social security work achieved remarkable results, national defense - security and foreign affairs continued to be maintained. Many emulation movements left their mark such as: Joining hands to build new rural areas; Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; 500-day and night emulation campaign to complete 3,000km of expressway.

Mr. Pham Anh Tuan affirmed that this congress is an important milestone, both summarizing the emulation movement for the period 2020 - 2025, and setting out directions and tasks for 2025 - 2030, making emulation a driving force for development, building a rich and happy Gia Lai .

Gia Lai provincial leaders commend and honor typical advanced examples

On this occasion, the congress also honored 600 collectives and individuals who are typical advanced examples in many fields of the province's socio-economic life, through the list of delegates attending the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress.

Speaking at the congress, Mr. Ho Quoc Dung, Secretary of Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, reviewed the past 5 years. Despite the impact of epidemics, natural disasters, and climate change, the province has persistently implemented the dual goals of maintaining economic growth, ensuring social security, maintaining national defense and security, and significantly improving people's lives.
