Tuition fees of top 10 universities in Australia

Tuition fees at the 10 best universities in Australia range from 24,700-100,000 AUD (0.4-1.65 billion VND) per year, depending on the major.

According to the QS World University Rankings 2024 released in mid-November, the University of Melbourne is the best university in Australia. The University of New South Wales and the University of Sydney are tied for second place. The remaining schools in the top 10 are: Australian National University, Monash University, Queensland, Western Australia, Adelaide, University of Technology Sydney and Macquarie University.

Tuition fees for international students at these schools range from 24,700 to 100,000 AUD per year. The highest is for Clinical Medicine at the University of Melbourne, followed by Veterinary Science at the University of Queensland (75,300 AUD). The lowest is for Music, Visual and Performing Arts, also at the University of Melbourne.

In terms of employment, a March report by QILT, funded by the Australian Department of Education, found that in 2022, the rate of students finding full-time employment after graduation at schools ranged from 71.2% to 83.7%. Of these, four schools had rates higher than the national average of 79%: the University of New South Wales, Sydney, Monash, and Queensland.

The average salary of bachelors after graduating from these schools is about 62,800-70,000 AUD a year, led by the University of New South Wales, while the national average is 68,000 AUD.

Australia is one of the three most attractive study abroad destinations in the world, along with the US and Canada. As of September this year, the country welcomed more than 740,000 international students, an increase of 31% compared to the same period last year.

In addition to tuition fees, living expenses in Australia are about 30,000 - 34,000 AUD per year, according to study abroad website Shiksha.
