The Army Academy successfully completed its tasks for the 2024-2025 school year.

On the morning of July 18, Lieutenant General Do Minh Xuong, Director of the Army Academy, attended and chaired the conference to summarize the 2024-2025 school year.

According to the report, in the 2024-2025 school year, with a high sense of responsibility, the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the Academy and the Party Committees and commanders of agencies and units focused on leading and directing the comprehensive and synchronous implementation of assigned tasks, in which many aspects of work achieved excellent results.

In particular, education and training, military, political , technical, logistics, financial and defense inspection work continued to make steady progress.

Adhering to the motto "The school's training quality is the unit's combat readiness", the Academy has seriously grasped and implemented resolutions and directives of the Party, the Central Military Commission, and the Ministry of National Defense on education and training tasks.

The Academy has developed a new training program for positions in 2025 and training programs for students in the 2025-2026 school year; at the same time, adjusted the content, program, and built training plans suitable to the goals and practical requirements.

Military recruitment and postgraduate recruitment are implemented closely, ensuring quality. The Academy continues to organize training courses for officers of the Lao People's Army and the Royal Cambodian Army with good results.

The advanced political theory training program and postgraduate training have many innovations, focusing on improving quality and innovating teaching methods in a positive and practical direction.

Along with that, the Academy promotes scientific research, compiles textbooks, documents, and topics for teaching and builds a smart, modern Academy model. The practice of changing to combat readiness and combat training for subjects is carried out seriously, safely, and effectively.

Cadres, lecturers, students, staff and soldiers of the Academy must maintain political will, stable ideology, solidarity and high unity; proactively fight to firmly protect the Party's ideological foundation in the new situation.

At the conference, delegates focused on analyzing and evaluating training and education work; at the same time, they shared experiences and proposed practical solutions to improve the quality of staff training and the effectiveness of tasks in the new school year.

Speaking at the conclusion of the conference, Lieutenant General Do Minh Xuong, Director of the Army Academy, acknowledged and commended the efforts and results that agencies and units have achieved in the 2024-2025 school year.

Based on the opinions discussed at the conference, Lieutenant General Do Minh Xuong emphasized a number of key tasks and solutions to continue improving the quality of education - training and scientific research; determined to build the Academy to lead the entire army in Digital Transformation, and excellently complete tasks in the new school year.

Regarding training objectives, ensure that 100% of subjects meet requirements, of which 85% are good or excellent; focus on scientific research, build a team of teachers meeting the standards of the Ministry of National Defense; successfully organize the Academy Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term.

On this occasion, the Army Academy organized a ceremony to present awards to recognize the outstanding contributions of groups and individuals during the school year and the Emulation Movement to Win.

Major General Nguyen Cong Son, Deputy Political Commissar of the Academy, awarded the collectives that achieved the title of "Advanced Unit" for the 2024-2025 school year.

Of which, 7 individuals of the Academy were honored to receive the title "Emulation Soldier of the Whole Army" from the Minister of National Defense for their outstanding achievements in the Emulation Movement to Win from 2022 to 2024.

The Party Committee of the Army Academy awarded 7 grassroots party organizations and 37 party members of grassroots party cells that met the criteria of "Excellent completion of tasks" in the 2024-2025 school year.

Major General Nguyen Van Hau, Deputy Director of the Academy, awarded individuals with the title "Basic Emulation Fighter" for the 2024-2025 school year.

The Academy's Political Commissar awarded the "Academy's Emulation Flag" to 1 collective; at the same time, recognized 12 collectives with the title "Determined to Win Unit" and 32 collectives with the title "Advanced Unit".

In addition, the Academy also honored more than 100 individuals with the title "Basic Emulation Fighter", more than 250 individuals with the title "Advanced Fighter" and 11 individuals with the title "Advanced Worker".
