This is a practical activity to ensure safety for people and tourists during the 80th Anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025) - hereinafter referred to as A80.
Accordingly, the Vietnam Red Cross Society in coordination with Hanoi Railway One Member Co., Ltd. (Hanoi Metro) deployed 06 first aid stations at stations on the Cat Linh - Ha Dong line (Cat Linh, Van Quan, Yen Nghia) and the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station line (Cau Giay, Nhon). Particularly at Cat Linh station, 2 first aid teams are arranged on the 1st and 2nd floors. Each shift includes 1 doctor, 1-2 Red Cross first aid trainers, 2-3 Red Cross volunteers. The first aid stations operate during peak days of August 27, 29, 30 and September 1 and 2.
The participating forces include trainers, guides, members, Red Cross volunteers who have been trained in first aid; officers, doctors and nurses who are working or retired but still healthy, with the coordination of departments and units under the Central Association and Hanoi Metro. The on-duty teams will directly perform first aid on the spot, and at the same time support and coordinate to take the victim to a medical facility when necessary.

This activity not only contributes to ensuring the health and safety of people and tourists participating in events celebrating the 80th anniversary of National Day, but is also an opportunity to promote and raise public awareness of the role and significance of first aid; spreading the spirit of compassion and humanity of the Vietnam Red Cross Society.
