Provincial Party Standing Committee's special conference in August

On the afternoon of August 19, the Provincial Party Standing Committee held a thematic conference for August 2025. Comrade Hau A Lenh, member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee chaired the conference.

At the conference, the Document Subcommittee presented: A report synthesizing, receiving, explaining, and commenting on the opinions of ministries, departments, branches, central agencies, former provincial leaders of all periods, and key leaders of the province on the draft Political Report of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; Draft 6, Political Report of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 (after receiving comments from ministries, departments, branches, central agencies, former provincial leaders of all periods, and key leaders of the province); Draft Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; Draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030 (with proposed list of directives, resolutions, projects, programs, and plans to be issued for the period 2025 - 2030); Draft Submission of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to the Politburo for approval of the Documents of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030; Draft Review Report of the Provincial Party Committee for the term 2020 - 2025 (Including: Joint integrated review report of the Executive Committees of the two provinces of Tuyen Quang and Ha Giang and separate Review Reports of the Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee and Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee).

Discussing at the conference, delegates discussed the contents of the Document Subcommittee presented at the conference, focusing on the contents of the documents. Delegates basically agreed with the draft reports presented by the Document Subcommittee at the conference and proposed adding a system of appendices to easily monitor the level of completion of targets, comparing with the targets in the new term. Continue to review specific targets, especially the target of GRDP growth, average income per capita, budget revenue, economic structure, investment attraction, border gate economy, industrial development. Concluding the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Hau A Lenh affirmed that, up to this point, the documents of the 18th Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, have basically met the requirements, the organization of collecting opinions has been widely implemented, receiving many valid comments. The Provincial Party Standing Committee highly agreed with the Congress theme and the layout of the documents.

The comrade requested the Subcommittee to continue reviewing the contents of the documents, especially the action plan to implement the Resolution. In particular, it is necessary to calculate the conditions to organize the implementation of the set goals, focus on specific tasks to create growth, clearly see the strengths and growth drivers of the province. Lessons learned need to be realistically assessed, frankly acknowledge the limitations in economic development leadership in the past term. At the same time, propose solutions, initiatives, ideas, and new directions to promote development at a high speed. This is the important content to ensure the feasibility and actionability of the documents of this Congress.
