On the streets, visitors can easily see lamp models recreating the image of Uncle Ho with children, the image of the Tan Trao banyan tree - an immortal symbol of the revolution, or the legend of Hoan Kiem Lake associated with the aspiration for independence and freedom.
Along with that are dozens of familiar fairy tale models such as Thach Sanh, Tam Cam, Cinderella, the mermaid... allowing children to live in a magical world, both entertaining and full of educational value.
The people are also the artisans making Mid-Autumn lanterns.

What is valuable in Tuyen Quang is that the residential groups are the ones who make the lanterns. Each group chooses a model and assigns specific tasks: the elders come up with ideas, guide the youth to build the frame and complete it, while the children help everyone make the lanterns.
Mr. Hoang Manh Cuong, a young man living in Minh Xuan Ward (Tuyen Quang) said that the whole neighborhood considers making lanterns an opportunity to bond.
"Everyone is excited, from adults to children. Thanks to the scientific arrangement, the festival not only creates joy but also maintains study discipline for children," said Mr. Cuong.
In addition to folk animal models, artisans also incorporate historical stories into the lamps, educating children on patriotism.

Behind the brilliance of the festival is the love and dedication of the people of Tuyen Quang. They spend months preparing, considering it their responsibility and pride to take care of the younger generation.
Not only Tuyen Quang children, today, the festival has also become an interesting meeting place for children all over the country. On weekends, thousands of tourists from Hanoi, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, even from the South also bring their children to Tuyen Quang to admire.
Children are immersed in a fairy tale space, while parents feel the community connection and tradition of studiousness and filial piety of the revolutionary land.

Ms. Thu Ha, a tourist from Hanoi, shared: "We brought our children to Tuyen Quang to see the lantern festival with our own eyes. They really enjoyed seeing the image of Uncle Ho, the Tan Trao banyan tree and fairy tale characters. This is truly a rewarding experience that cannot be found anywhere else."
