Truong Son Traditional Association

On the morning of May 17, the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Traditional Association of Sam Son City held a ceremony to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the opening of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, the traditional day of Truong Son Troops (May 19, 1959 - May 19, 2024) and review the Association's work in the first 6 months of the year.

At the ceremony, in a warm atmosphere of comradeship, delegates reviewed the 65th anniversary of the opening of the Ho Chi Minh trail - the traditional day of the Truong Son Army.

The Truong Son traffic system is not only an important strategic route, but also a fierce battleground between us and the enemy. In times of peace , the route is a symbol of the strength of solidarity and determination to fight for the independence, freedom, peace and unity of the Fatherland, as well as the solidarity relationship between the people of the three countries of Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia.

Continuing to promote the tradition of Truong Son soldiers, in September 2013, the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Tradition Association of Sam Son City was established. Currently, the Association has more than 600 members. Over the years, former cadres and soldiers of Truong Son City have always actively participated in building the Party, the government, and building an increasingly developed tourist city.

After more than 10 years of operation, the Association was honored to receive Certificates of Merit from the Central Association, Provincial Association, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and Certificate of Merit from Chairman of the People's Committee of Sam Son City for its outstanding achievements in Association activities.

Mr. Le Duc Phan, Chairman of the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Tradition Association, presented commemorative medals to former soldiers of Truong Son, Sam Son City.

On this occasion, the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Traditional Association of the province awarded 17 Honorary Medals on the 65th anniversary of the founding of Group 559 and Certificates of Merit from the Central Association and the Provincial Association to groups and individuals of the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Traditional Association of Sam Son City. Many groups and individuals were awarded Certificates of Merit from the Truong Son - Ho Chi Minh Trail Traditional Association of Sam Son City.
