More than 200 students participated in reading books at the Green Library Space - Book Road

(LĐ online) - On April 19, Lam Dong Provincial Library coordinated with the Youth Activity Center, City Youth Union and the Department of Education and Training of Da Lat City to organize a reading program at the Green Library Space - Book Street.

Students are interested in reading books according to their interests.

This is an activity in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025, celebrating the 50th anniversary of Southern Liberation and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

The program was attended by more than 200 students from primary schools in Da Lat City. In the Green Library Space - Book Street under the trees at the Youth Activity Center, students were free to read books and stories from the mobile library vehicle "Light of Knowledge" organized by the Provincial Library.

Children can comfortably read books in the Green Library Space.

In the Green Library Space - Book Street exhibition, there are also book stalls to serve the reading and knowledge-seeking needs of young people. In addition, children are also given books about Da Lat written by children in the city, published by O Cua Sach Education and Publishing Company Limited.

At the same time, you can visit the exhibition space of traditional and historical artifacts, especially those typical of Lam Dong province; visit the works from the Painting Contest according to books - My beloved colors with the content of 50 years of Southern Liberation Day, national reunification, My beloved book page...

Previously, as part of a series of activities in response to Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2025, Lam Dong Provincial Library organized mobile library trips "Light of Knowledge" to serve children and students in schools in remote areas in the province.

Through activities to encourage and develop the reading movement in the community, raise awareness among young people about the great significance and importance of reading in improving knowledge, skills, developing thinking, educating and training human personality. At the same time, propagate and educate children about reading as well as respect, preserve and protect books.
