More than 400 publications are on display at the Spring Newspaper Fair of At Ty 2025

(CLO) On the morning of January 17, at the Temple of Literature in Ha Tinh , the Ha Tinh Provincial Journalists Association coordinated with the Department of Information and Communications of Ha Tinh and the People's Committee of Ha Tinh city to organize the opening ceremony of the Spring Newspaper Festival of At Ty 2025.

Attending the opening ceremony were Standing Deputy Secretary of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee Tran The Dung, Head of Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Ha Van Hung, Secretary of City Party Committee Duong Tat Thang, Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee Le Ngoc Chau, leaders of departments, branches and a large number of officials and reporters from news agencies and newspapers in Ha Tinh province.

At the event, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department Nguyen Xuan Hai, Chairman of the Ha Tinh Provincial Journalists Association launched a peak emulation campaign. He called on press and media agencies and staff and reporters in the province to actively carry out propaganda work on the local achievements in all fields; promote the dissemination of new policies and guidelines, as well as major holidays and events of the homeland and the country. At the same time, he emphasized the need to enhance the responsibility of each individual in the press industry, making a practical contribution to the cause of national construction and innovation.

At the program, the Provincial Journalists Association together with its branches, affiliated journalist clubs, representative offices, and resident reporters connected, called for, and mobilized nearly 300 gifts worth nearly 150 million VND for families in difficult circumstances and poor students who overcame difficulties and studied well in Ha Tinh city.

This year, the Spring Newspaper Fair displayed and exhibited more than 400 newspapers and publications of central press agencies, Ha Tinh press, and local news.

The Spring Press Fair of At Ty 2025 is the opening event for a series of activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day; practically celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), towards the 50th anniversary of the complete liberation of the South and national reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), the 135th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2025) and major holidays and important events of the country and of Ha Tinh in 2025.
